Ok, I'm not a noob at Indesign, but this question always bugged me and I want to bypass it in a work I'm doing now.
I need to restart the numbering of a continous numbered list, that doesn't have a non-numbered list or any other kind of paragraph inbetween lists.
Like this:1.

3.without having to create a paragraph style for each list (2 or 3 is ok, just not a different one for each)
What are your solutions??

The solution, which Adobe never implemented would be something along the lines of: Restart numbering after any OTHER list, not just levels...

^^Well, that's nice. It's my better option at the moment...
Any alternative automated way?- Without paragraph styles?

I have paragraph styles, but there's no specific number to restart after... I know lots of tricks, including restarters in between lists, but they're not applicable in this case.
