Hey guys, I'm working on updating the look of a software company, and was wondering if anyone has any links or photos of good corporate/tech looking pieces. It seems the software industry is in love with gradients and drop shadows and flashy things mixed with stock photography.
Thanks in advance!

There's Oracle; they skipped the gradients, for the most part, but their brand book is one of the most boring things I ever read:

I really like the look of Ableton (their application design is also amazing), the software box / cds/ sticker sheet (including 2 for placing on top of the apple logo on the mbp so it lights up), manuals, newsletters and website, great look overall, I was surprised to see they pay so much attention to these things for being such a small company.

my advice having done a similar thing:
Design whatever you feel like would be a good portfolio piece.
It really doesn't matter to the industry your talking about. You're talking about B2B IT SPs. Trust me, I've worked for years on clients in that industry. Anything that looks cool is fine with them. They just want their logos big.
