has anyone had any experience with this?
i.e. it changes colour on change of temperature.any links to printers/companies that deal with it?

thanks... although i'm in the UK...
am i right in saying it's the paper that changes colour as opposed to the ink used on it.?- afaik, it' sthe ink pigment.

Only company in the UK I've come across that uses thermochromic pigments is http://www.selfadhesivelabels.co… . Was considering getting cool-sensitive stickers done up years ago, so got samples which were pretty cool. This was 6 years ago though, so.. er..

the one that i've used is a clear coating applied after the printing, the heat somehow changes the perceived density- it was not as dramatic as the video you posted though, more of a light green changing to a dark green.
