i have a 70 page a5 size booklet to put together and i was looking for sources of inspiration for small interesting ways i can spice up the content since its mostly just shop adverts. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was looking for a good a different way to show sections in the book also if anyone knows of something, i would appreciate a suggestion.
Cheers!

I've done a few. Like DNE said. Use different colored papers to mix things up. For example, primary content pages are white (either uncoated or gloss coated); ad section is tan or light blue; and section breakers are black, brown, dark blue, or dark red with silver text/line art. Cover can be same color as breakers, or something distinctly different. Emboss, silver or gold ink, foil, etc.—a lot of nice effects available for colored papers.
If you've got mostly text and boring ads, I'd use one or two ink colors in each section, but maybe something different in each.
@70 pp it should be perfect bound. That will also help make it more special, vs. something saddle-stitched.
It'll be kinda pricey to do most or all the above, but hey your client has deep pockets right? ;)

guys, all i was looking for was some sources of inspiration for the design and maybe a suggestion on different ways to break up sections.

I provided both for you. There's no need to get irritable, especially when people who know their stuff are asking you perfectly valid questions.
