High School Reunion Website???

Anyone ever seen a website built for a highschool reunion? ever built one yourself for your alma mater?
Have a meeting in a little over an hour that came from my "facebook invitation" to RSVP to the reunion. Class president is trying to drum up interest in the reunion so i said i would meet with him to give him some help in the online dept.
Thinking im just going to set him up with wordpress, gmail, twittert, mailchimp, wufoo and a facebook "group" page.
Really hated my high school experience and have been debating going to the 10yr reunion now being requested to "take charge" of the online crap for the event is making me reconsider. Thinking if i could push my Photography and Videography/editing/mografx abilities i might even be able to see some coin from the event.
Anyways... just curious if any of you guys/gals have had experience with this?

i banged this one out for my father-in-law recently. obviously wordpress and a decent theme. quick and dirty.

nice! thx... thats pretty much exactly what i was going to propose. i dig the theme. nice and "classy"
- it was quick and suited the content i was given which is what i needed at the time.prophet

- just wish i had html/css/javascript skills to take a .psd to a custom theme. i know you can pay for it... but.......applepirate
