Photographer moving to London

I have a Photographer chum who is moving to London pretty soon and asked me for some help seen as I live/work in the big smoke, especially the creative side.
But alas I work in the web and know little about the photography/film side.
This is were I turn to all you creative know all to tell me about positions, jobs and agencies in London.
Plus any other info/advice to get him started on, anything is really appreciated.
