meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width”
Does that set the width to 320 or 480 regardless of the width of the site? i have tried a few different examples and seem to get different results, can anyone let me know?
For example if i had a site with a fixed pixel width of 700px would it force it to fit or would it only show 320/480?
I've done a few examples and keep getting different results for some reason. Apologies also, as i have asked a similar question before.

Seem to have fixed it... was getting odd results because the height of one of my examples was 100px... once the height was taller it seemed to fix it and to answer my own question 'content=”width=device-width' would make my 700px wide site fit perfectly in the browser window..
