Hey there,
Sorry if this is basic graphics stuff, but i want to find and use a font that is two colors. White with a black stroke around it.
It is for a game so i would need the actual font to be designed this way instead of a photoshop or illustrator fix.
Are there fonts like this out there, and where ?gratis

it won't be any use but what you mean is like Rosewood, where there's an outside font and a fill.
a solution is to create it in illustrator and make the font from the outlines and this could be done fairly affordably.
the other option is to simply use illustrator files for each element that needs creating. obviously a font you're describing would only be any use fir headers and such (not body copy) so this may be a solution.
obviously this is if we can't all refer something that you like.

small search on myfonts, looks like they use the term 'chromatic' for this type of type (fucking golden pun right there).
list here:

there are loads of "outline" versions of fonts out there, pour example — http://www.identifont.com/samples/adobe/HelveticaNeueBoldOutline.gif
but yeah, depends how wacky you're desiring the typeface to be, and depending on the size you're using it at, you might have to make something custom like (helvetica outline for example would deteriorate onscreen at smaller sizes since you seem to not want to control the stroke weight yourself)
- < guess the fucker that doesn't know a font beyond helvetica.airey
