We all have leads and contacts we want to stay in touch with, but how often does this happen?
Just wondering how often you people email contacts, at which point do you stop talking?

Ideally we'd call up clients after we've completed work for them and thank them for their time and how much of a pleasure it was working with them etc etc etc.
Realistically we're moving on to the next paying client and forgetting all about the last one.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I have a question:

I only call up people when I deem the message as either meaningful or purposeful. If your good at what you do then people will remember you and respect that when you get in contact its because you have something of value to contribute. I prefer this approach hands down to some person calling me feeling compelled to just 'stay in the loop'. Obviously this is just in the context of work associates.
