I'm tweeking a wordpress e-commerce site....
It seems to have "lost" all the products if you go to the "products" page in the wp-admin, but if you surf the site while logged in as an admin user, then the "edit" link shows up next to each product and you can edit it.... so products are not deleted....
a bit of googling hasn't found much useful... has anyone else had similar experiences and solutions...
you could rant and tell me to use something else, but client has committed to wp-ecommerce before I was involved and it can't be changed..... so I have to deal with this...
Now I am on the verge of either:
1. checking mysql raw stuff
or
2. re-installing everything....If anyone has hints, or similar experiences, I'd behappy to hear about it....

replace all of your admin files with your backup. ?

may try that..... but somehow I think it's a database issue, not a code issue... or maybe it's a duplicatable bug I can work around if I don't do x, whatever x is....

a few options: turn on query logging in mysql, turn on debugging in wordpress wp-config:
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, true);
or
define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);use wp console plugin to see what's going on under the hood (you'll have to close the front door to do this!)
- ah.... thanks, this is the kind of stuff I was hoping to read.... good....vaxorcist
