I dont have a pantone book which i'm sure your all probably going to tell me to refer to..
but i'm wanting to use a specific colour ive seen in a magazine - is it possible for a printers to find out what the CMYK value is for that colour on a particular page ?

Take it to B&Q/Homebase and get them to match the colour. The machine they use can then give you RGB, CMYK, Pantone etc colour values. This may only work if you're in the UK.

a printer should be able to tell you. they can analyse the dot pattern and give you the percentages
