How much should I pay for cards?
Just been quoted £150 for 100 cards. The price would go down the more cards you print obviously.
Does this sound like a decent price? It's definitely not cheap though - right? Over £1 per card!!!

letterpress is one of the most expensive forms of printing. just a bit cheaper than foil stamping.

Considering the work that goes into making them VS. Digital printed, I think it's a fair price. See it as an good investment that impress people when you hand it out.

Creating the plate for a single color (about 12x18 inches, or smaller most likely) will cost between $100 and $300. After that costs don't change much unless you add more colors and use a ton more paper.
- So yeah, that quote is more than reasonable, in my opinion.monospaced

One color? It really depends on the design of the card and paper, but that seems a little high. Letterpress is worth it in my opinion if you want to make a statement.
Maybe ask a few other printers for pricing. I letterpress as a hobby and know it shouldn't be THAT much.
