This guys tank is ridiculous...

Try something active. I recommend mountainboarding or powerkiting.

@ Ranger:
Ideally you need a large flat open space for the best, most-even wind conditions - the old adage of being on top of a hill is rubbish as there the air will be very turbulent which means the kite will be much harder to control. A beach is ideal.
Buy a medium power kite - say a flexifoil stacker 8 or 10 - and learn to fly / control it / explore the power zone. Once you have the hang of it move on up to a bigger kite - say a peel 3.6 or a 5.0.
Or you can do what I did - start with a Peel 3.6 in a 40mph wind. I had no idea what I was doing, and when the kite launched I discovered what people meant by the power zone, and took off... landed 50 yards down the beach.... it's that power you need to be able to control if you then start kitesurfing/kiteboarding
Start with the flexifoil - it's a well made fast kite and is a good way to learn. In a decent wind it has a fair bit of pull, but it's manageable

Cheers - I live near Blackheath and I see them up there doing some pretty mad looking stuff - think some guy did take off though and almost died when he fell. I used to have nightmares about that sort of thing, not sure I could handle doing it in real life.

I still consider myself a surfer, though I no longer live in a place where I can get in the water every day. More like once a year now.
Besides that: exercising (running, weightlifting, swimming), reading, scotch drinking, pipe smoking, and of course hanging with wife, kid, family. I'm involved in my church, but that's not *exactly* a hobby. I used to write poetry, but just about all of my creative juice is being sucked out by my design work these days. I guess that isn't a bad thing though, since I enjoy most of my work.

To answer seriously, I'm down the gym weightlifting six times a week, do a bit of indoor climbing each week and generally keep active.
Used to inline skate a lot but feel I'm a little too old for it now :)
