Design Museum Style websites

I have been speaking with a client who likes the simplicity of the design museum website - http://designmuseum.org/
They like the use of composition and white space etc. I wondered if anyone could name any similar sites that follow this grid like layout and us of white space that might also be good inspiration for me.
Any help is very appreciated.

yeah, that sort of thing. Any websites that compositionally work, and use a lot of white space. I know it is vague, but the Design museum is a good example of what I mean.

I find them depressing. srsly.It's like for evey site you designed... there's a million similar ones out there.
