Please do not tell me I'm fucked and I have to do a days work all over again.
I'm trying to open my work I did yesterday in flash and all I get is this fucking message.
"Failed to open document.fla" Are there any work arounds for this. FFS.

I get this problem with Flash all the time. Do what dkentish said. Open Flash then open the file from the file dialog box.
