The UI is clunky as hell, the UX even worse. It's funny how android (and the extra layers htc etc put over it) try to act like they don't straight ripoff the iphone. They jack iOS completely and then clutter it up with some crap to try and look different enough. Is it 1995?

This phone is the shiznit! Way better than the iphone4!
I dont even type anymore, voice recognition is SO good i just speak for text's and searches.
The screen looks effing great and side by side with the iphone4, the iphone looks like a toy...
You can even root the phone and install Ubuntu on it...
8.3 megapixel & front facing camera, 720p movies. wifi hotpspot tethering. gps navigation. google voice.. way too good!

The OS and UI still feels clunky.
Over designed and complex.
It seems like its designed by engineers and IX folks.

why do they use that horrid default rainbow background?
I will be going HTC though... will probably go both at some point but HTC first.

How does the HTC sync music? This is a huge issue for me. Does it integrate with iTunes? I doubt but what's the alternative?
- this will sync itunes, iphoto. no support for this model yet, but i imagine soon.. http://www.salling.c…acescence

i think it's the AT&T thing that make you switch. Not really the phone, as they are pretty much the same.still, the thing that sprint keep saying they have 4G. is a bit annoying.

So I just replaced my iPhone with the EVO 4G over the weekend. After only a few days with my new phone I can say Android and the EVO are really growing on me.
The biggest win for me is frankly getting off of AT&T. I really hated the "Nations largest 3G network".
The form factor of the EVO is pretty large so the droid incredible might suite some people better...that said I wanted the bigger screen and the screen on this device is beautiful.
Customization of the various screens is something that sets Android apart for me right now as well. The ability to add applications and widgets to the home screen interface is really nice. I also like the expose like functionality for all of the home screens.
To me, thanks to nice devices by HTC, Android is finally a real alternative to the iPhone and in a lot of ways its UI makes the iPhone UI feel old to me.
iPhones are great...but I can now say that Android is a better fit for me.
