Hi all,
I have an A4 document, no bleed, no slug, when I export to PDF, a logo that was 20mm from the top of the page is now 28mm.
Any ideas, using the PDF export dialog box, I cannot see where this extra space is coming from.
Thanks

how are you making the pdf?

Are you measuring it on paper or PDF? Then it could have something to do with the printer margins (the edge where the printer doesn't print)?

Basically, I exported it to PDF, took a look and instantly knew it was off, I took a screenshot of the document, 100% in size, then opened in Photoshop, sure enough, there was extra space around the whole page, i.e, top and bottom, left and right.

post a screen shot of the doc, might help, (with edges showing)
although I have a feeling it might be to do with bleed etc or printer margins.
If your logo truly is mathematically 20mm from the top of the page then it should pdf as such

try to print to pdf and see if the problem remains

When you open it in photoshop, do you use the trim box setting?

uhm your beeld is on but not your cropmarks....

make sure you check the "use document bleeds" etc when you export
- If you use bleeds in your document..Roberthannink
- I tried that, didn't effect it unfortunately.iamjustoneman

In acrobat go to preferences, page display:
put on show art, trim & bleed boxes. Red your doc. size.

everyone could be right, or no one could.
the only way to know for sure is to see the file itself, everything else is just conjecture

Figured it out (I think), in the same place tank told me to look above, I noticed the following:
Resolution: (It was set to 91), there is an option to change to system setting: 81, or custom.
If I set it to custom: 72 and it displays with the correct proportions.
