may be a stupid question, but what was the font used there? obviously system font and not true type but can anyone recommend a free one that is basically the same?

"It's called "terminal" not "system"
The files are hidden, search for *.fon and you'll have access to the files themselves"

aaah yeah i thought as much but im on mac, i just wanna download a similar thing for some design stuff...
i can even really remember what it looks like. ill have a look through mac terminal and online but if anyone else has any leads...

on (really old) mac -> font = Espy
on (recent) mac -> dos = terminal, font = Andale Mono
on pc -> dos = dos, font = don't know, don't care : )
