No. Again, they where not dead. Hurley did take over de island.
Sawyer, Kate and the plane got home an lead there live.
Jack died saving the island.
The final 20 minutes is about the end for everybody and they come together. For anybody who died in years they meet 'there' in that form.- well for everybody's he was 'ready'. Eko wasnt ready and Michael was also not, thats why he is still on the island.tank
- or maybe everybody was just sick of him screaming 'walt'.tank
- Or maybe it was a whites only churchukit

Why no Mr. Eko on ‘Lost’?
There were plenty of questions surrounding the “Lost” series finale, and while many will remain forever unanswered, there is one that can be addressed: Where was Mr. Eko?Nearly every other major character returned for the episode, but Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who played the warlord-turned-priest, did not.
According to E!, the issue was money. “According to ABC and ‘Lost’ insiders, Adewale was offered a hearty sum to do one scene in the last hurrah, but the actor wanted five times the amount that was offered. It didn't work out,” according to the E! report.
Ironically, one character who was killed off the show because of a reported money dispute was back: Ian Somerhalder, who played Boone. “He continued to want more and more money,” said one ABC insider. “More than cast members with lots more screen were getting. So they let him go.”

This last episode reminded me of souhtpark:

Yes, well I'm afraid you were wrong.Soldier:
I was a practicing Jehovah's Witness.Hell Director:

@Mig: I started answering those questions, and then by Season 3 I noticed that this list is really outdated, because most of those questions have been answered.

yeah a bit disappointed at the ending ... the whole 2 & a half hours it was basically a touch hands, magnetic pulse would occur and they remember who they all are

My prediction is that this will be the last episode,
just a wild and crazy guess.

So, I haven't watched it, at all.
are they dead?
how does it end?

I see a spinoff of Lost that has Hurley and Ben working together to take care of the island. It can be a comedy, and all variety of movie stars (Justin Bieber, Donald Trump) can come to the island for madcap adventures involving funny incompetent bad guys (the Others) trying to steal the light. In the end, despite Hurley’s screwups, Ben always saves the day and they learn a lesson.
It could work!

I think the end was great. The show was never sci-fi in the sense of details, like a star trek or star wars story. It was always highly metaphorical, so it was appropriate that they ended it that way, very emotionally and symbolically.
In the end, what made the show great
Casting (except for Jacob and man in black)
Acting - always great (except for two exceptions above)
Writing - kept the show moving interesting compelling meaningful....despite this crazy convoluted background story....
Music - Amazing! Michael Giacchino! awesomeI dont even mind that I dont know what the four toed creatures are....
- You just hit on something there. People wanted concrete answers you get from sci fi. This is something else.CyBrain

The problem with Lost is that there are so many characters and so many plot points over a 6 year span that unless you watch the show in like a 7 day span you tend to forget a lot of them.
so who's going to be the first to attempt and watch all 6 seasons back-to-back?- you're better off forgetting them anyway. Most of them don't get addressed again.dopepope

Proud to say I've never watched one episode.
- ^bigtrickagain
- I never had either. But isn't it petty to be proud of that, or think anyone cares?kpl
- Why would you be proud if you don't even know about the show either way?CyBrain
- being proud of something so insignificant speaks volumes of your douchiness™airey
- and why the hell would you even open this discussion, let alone make a comment?dewilde
