I really like the Challenger too. I was looking at the SRT/8 model and it ended up being like $45k which is a little too much for my tastes. Nice car tho! And it drives pretty smooth.
The back of the Camaro looks odd to me. I like the front and sides, but that back is butt ugly.
- Exactly how I feel.ArmandoEstrada
- yeah... the back is a melted corvette ass with a bumper taped onto it.bigtrickagain

The back of the camaro, and a bit of the front look like a cartooon car, from the movie Cars....
I've ridden in a challenger, it felt like a very agile boxcar, it had a barge-like feeling to it, I was spoiled by some tossable little cars like Integras and Miatas....
I'd get a used Boxster instead....

Don't buy the dodge. They have shady maintenance. I'd go with the Camero but make sure you keep all your maintenance up, constant oil changes after 3,000 miles, ect.
You may also consider a Mustang. But the new camero's have an awesome design.

FYI. Consider gas hitting $5 - $10 a gallon if we go to war.
I think the V6 mustang (2011) with 305HP and 31MPG is brilliant.
- isn't the US already at war x 2 ??Amicus
- Those are just playground fights. I am talking Iran and Israel Shit.FredMcWoozy

I knew a guy in high school hwho had a challenger.... 340 cube engine wasn't as fast or heavy as the 440 or 426 hemi... he DID say the body panels never fit together right, and the back window was really, really small....
- vaxorcist0
I know a guy who got a mustang GT after driving the Camaro and the Challenger.. he said the Mustang had much more tossable steering, felt more fun.... he said the challenger felt like a rocket but odd in the corners and the camaro was a bit over the top in the interior and it felt too big..
- yeah the challenger won't take the corners so well. pretty standard u.s.a anyway.akrokdesign

Just want to say thanks for everyones input, got the Challenger R/T, torrid red, manual transmission. Loving it so far, the car gets much attention (kind of weird having people come up to you or drive next to and talk about your car)
- < same thing if you drive a smart. :-) glad your happy with it, though.akrokdesign
- i bet your G35 was nice. puuh. lol.akrokdesign

Challenger hands down, but I am a little biased. I own a 2010 SRT8 Challenger. I grew up a Mopar guy (owned a 66 Fury VIP and a 69 Charger) and always will be. Out of all 3 of the Modern Muscle cars it stays true to the designs of old. I was nervous when they announced that they were producing them again, since they completely fucked up the new Chargers. But they did it right. Nice clean and sexy lines.
The camaros are nice, a buddy has a 2010 SS. A little to angular for my taste. The car looks like it was designed specifically for the transformers movie. Too rigid and robotic. The handle and drive nice and have punch. But I smoke him on a continual basis.
Now the Mustangs, what else do I need to say. It's a Ford. And it's ugly as fuck. Short, squat and down right horrible. They look like souped up Celicas. Ford hasn't put out a proper and respectable Mustang since 1969.
Whatever you get have fun and start modding it out. And remember, these cars are not sports cars with precision race like handling. They are meant to go straight, fast and blow the doors off anyone that pulls up next to you. If you want handling go buy a Nazi sled or a riceburner like everyone else on the road.
- who the heck are you?bigtrickagain
- someone who knows.lead_foot
- did you join qbn just to rave about the challenger? *cornfused*bigtrickagain
- no, I joined to bug cunts like you. What the fuck should you care? Do you own this site? No. JK does. So shut the fuck up.lead_foot
- no need to be defensive lead foot. he's just curious where you came from.lambsy
- Na, his colors have shown through. His jackassery continued on the next page.lead_foot
- lol! my 48-cylinder kawasaki is as relevant to the discussion at hand as your 600-hp modified challengers.bigtrickagain
- < i say all 3 cars sucks. he's old G35 are even better.akrokdesign
- ArmandoEstrada0
Thanks for that insight leadFoot, that really helps. I really love the handling of sporty cars and I feel I might miss that with the Challenger, thats why I was leaning towards the Camaro. Its going to be a change from the G35 Coupe for sure.
- yeah, taking corners will now be gone. BREAK, BREAK, BREAk...okay now roll by the turn. lol.akrokdesign
- lead_foot0
If you really want the winner wait about 2 years ( official date hasn't been set.). They are releasing the SRT10. That Challenger will have the Viper motor in it. A 8.4L, V10 engine with 600 HP. Death on wheels.
- Sounds like that will get about 3MPG. The reason I am going to R/T is 5-6 MPG better than SRT8...ArmandoEstrada
- none are "the winner". cars are all losers. all of themiCanHasQBN
- keep your Prius driving self righteous ass out of this thread. Go hang out with your green snobbery friends.lead_foot
- right, because caring about the air we breathe and not funding terrorist nations is "snobbery". go eat a dick.iCanHasQBN
- Americans seem to care about the DUMBEST shit in the world, but don't give a damn about things that actually matter.iCanHasQBN
- so have a good time with that 600hp while you're stuck in rush hour congestion. *cough cough*iCanHasQBN
- hey, i'm american.bigtrickagain
- << HAHAHAH. if they say it's 600HP is more like 478HP or less on the wheels.akrokdesign
- VIPER = A TRUCK! LOL.akrokdesign
