Anyone know of any websites where they sell "premium information"? I'm talking business info. I'm trying to find an aesthetic that goes beyond "boring template".

I've had access to 2 sites like this in the past...
They both looked very 1999... why? Because they had exclusive info and didn't have any business incentive to make it look good.... and their customers were not into design at all......

I've been thinking about this and all I can come up with are things like really great market (stock) advice and analyst insights. Unfortunately, they all feel like news sites, but not popular ones.
You're a designer; you set the standard.

thats going to be tricky. these c level management types argue a lot with each other. I'm even trying to understand what "premium informaiton" looks like

Premium information needs to be hidden from view until the cash is handed over.
Think black-boxes or black plastic bags.

This is so funny. I'm starting to imagine something from an episode of 24 when CTS is hacking some shit and there's text everywhere and beeps and it's all techy. Of course that 2advanced shite wouldn't fly, but it is Hollywood's version. Otherwise, vaxorcist has a point, what makes something premium is the actual content, not how it looks. I would avoid overstyling with a dark background (as you might see in a premium retail brand, for example) or using any designer fonts. Good luck.

im trying to find ways to add visual interest. its a tough sweet spot to find.

Don't go crazy with visual interest. Make it super legible, include all the necessary info while avoiding anything unnecessary. With the C-suite guys it's best to consider usability (printability and linkability and simplicity) and their often tiny laptops. Many of them are older and don't like scrolling that much (a constant battle where I work) but still want everything on the page. Once again, good luck.
