Can anyone recommend and or have any experience with setting up a Camera Surveillance System that works over the Internet and can be hooked up either wired or wirelessly through an apple computerand can also be viewed on an iPhone?

I guess you should specify internal or external system, how many cams you think etc. Makes a big difference.

I have a nadatel 8 camera system at my house. The cameras are all external so weatherproof vandal resistance IR domes.
I cant login to my DVR over web without the PC app as mine is the older mpg version but you can on the new h264 versions apparently.
iVMS-4500 seems to be a popular iphone app for remote viewing cams, maybe have a read of the CCTV forums to see which DVRs work with it? I can view my friends system over iVMS-4500 and its slick.
- great info, thanks slappy.utopian
- Commercial CCTV systems are a piece o cake to install yourself, shoot me an email if you want a quick rundown, they arnt expensive either. Hi-res colour/night vision cams are only about 80 bucks off the net.slappy
