Yeah I figured the online option may be futile, given the extent of what I'd like done. I'll check into local shops. Worse comes to worse, I'll create a brilliant branding campaign with cardboard and markers.

printplace.com is good - but they do not offer embossing and everything is 4color. i just had some cards embossed at 4colorprint.com, but they took nearly a month to get back to me.

Lemme get this straight:
- Offset printing
- Specialty uncoated stock
- Spot colors (1-2)
- EmbossI hate to say you aren't going to find an online printer, for cheap, that will be able to do this. Most on-demand won't support spots or specialty processes (emboss) or papers of your choosing. Your needs are going to be met by a true print shop only.

nah, theres a few. I guess I'm stressing about budget and thought the online option might be better, or at least wanted it so I could compare with local printers.
- You'll have to make sacrifices to keep the price down. Don't expect specialty paper or spots, or even an emboss.monospaced

Anybody have recommendations on a good, affordable online printer?
I am creating some self-promotional materials for an eventual job switch, and I would like to get some postcards (and perhaps business cards) offset printed—1c/2c on an uncoated specialty stock, and perhaps an emboss.
I'd like to find an online printer that isn't too absurdly expensive, and is capable of doing limited runs.
Any thoughts?
