Sorry to see this site go as it was one of the first places devoted to motion graphics. Invaluable as a site for resource, inspiration and exposure, xplsv.tv was, in my mind, the first of it's kind and motiongrapher.com owes much to it.
thanks mr.doob!

Wow, that is a major blow to the community. I've been frequenting xplsv every single day for a while now.
Sad, sad news :(

cheers doob . good luck with your future projects because I know they're all awesome like xplsv. I had some new work I was looking forward to showing off there but it can't be.

it would be sweet if motionographer set something up like that...i remember when they used to have all the top studios in the left side and it was easy to scour through tons of great work...
too many studios now, but cream still features a nice bunch...
also - stash's feed, mograph and there are some good vimeo chans out there....thats about it - cpluv used to get some stuff but that site is..........
- thanks. now i have a weekend/commuting project :Dnoiseisthis

pornhub.com has lots of inspiring videos.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I'm the first one getting saddened, but it comes a point when you want to focus on something and maintaining a database/community eats too much time.
I'm sure the people that used the site will easily find alternatives.

Shit, you completely took it down? That's a major shame, I would have loved to still be able to peruse it as an archive...
