Night out - Modclub on a Friday - Salvadore darling is a cool little place for drinks, phenix for rock nights...food... burrito boyz is amazing !! check out the st. lawrence market, i live near there and its a walk from union station - amazing food. you can walk around and try things like avocado honey, candied salmon, or salt made with the hottest peppers known to man. then buy a vintage camera for cheap. go early on a saturday to get the feeling. the maple syrup guy across the street knows whats up. if you want amazing coffee - google dark horse in toronto - good buzz there. breakfast -le petit de jeunes on king street has amazing benedicts!! and squirrely's back patio west on queen around trinity bellwoods park has a nice nacho plate for lunch time - and an old guy @ trinity bellwoods park that sells some unique stuff for super cheap. the island is nice if you have time to bike around
- candied salmon sounds like a hit!akrok

There's lot's of good art galleries if you like that sort of thing and want something to do in the daytime.
Or take the staircase(if it's open) up the CN Tower.
Definitely see Midlake at the Mod Club, best venue in town.

Yeah, there is nothing up at York. I went to school there. You will have to take the subway, then a Bus to get there from downtown Union station area.
- 30-40 minutes would be reasonable travel time.canuck
- Take a trip to Toronto Island if you end up staying down around Union station.canuck
- does it runs good even on sat and sunday?akrok
- You will probably have a longer wait. You will get off at Downsview station then wait for the bus to York University.canuck
- Probably doesn't run as regular on weekend.canuck
- thanks. the island looks very nice.akrok
- 30-40 minimum. My wife works at York and does the commute from Bloor everyday.welded
- thanks. :-)akrok
