Is this any good for a small design shop, for tracking time, making invoices, keeping on top of deadbeats, and seeing which ratholes you're tossing your money into?
Or is there a better software solution out there?
*open to suggestions

Dunno bout QB but everyone always raves about the 37 Signal's products. Some of my clients use BaseCamp and they're large agencies.

I'll keep those in mind, but at this point I'm mainly concerned with bookkeeping, time tracking, and invoicing functions.

Yeah, I have to say I'd be more keen on a software solution that didn't involve a monthly subscription. It looks like all the 37 Stuff is a monthly charge, which adds up like a motherfucker over time.

QB is an all in one, my wife uses it for her small business staffs about 14 people , prints her own checks , invoices , taps into your bank accounts for money management bill pay etc ..
