so, I consider myself pretty good at as3, but I'm having a hard time switching over to js/jquery...
I'm trying to do this, but it's not working:
var count = 0;
$("#holder div:eq(count)").css({ left: 700 });however... this works fine:
$("#holder div:eq(0)").css({ left: 700 });why? :)
basically, I'm trying to find the best way to loop through the array jquery gives me back, and perform actions based on what the current index is, and what the previous index was.
any help would be awesomeeee.

would I be better off using the .each method? seems like a waste to loop through everything, when I can just keep track of the index and only modify the two div's I need.
again, I'm lost — any help would be great!

ah, yes... very good.
thanks!
