i have this huge psd file with a "product" in each layer and i want to save/export each layer with an extra element that i have placed in another layer on top of them...
i would like to batch them all by exporting out jpgs of each layer with that extra element...
so far i could only figure out how to export simply each layer and not including that extra layer repeated... if I remember correctly, imageReady in the older versions of ps had a function that allowed me to select layers that I wanted to show and it seem odd that cs4 couldn't do it now... am I wrong?
thanx in advance...

Just show/hide the layers you want to save out?

not the best answer to your question - but could you export to layers and then create a batch action to add in the extra layer you want repeated?
I agree that surely there must be a way to do this... but I don't know what it is

thank you! i'll do that... you're right, it's not what i thought i'd need but it will solve this problem anyway...

I agree with fb you probably need to do that in two steps.
1. "Export layers to files". Select "Visible Layers only".
2. Create a batch for the addition of your extra layers

Photoshop > Files > Scripts > Export layers to files + Select "Visible Layers only".
