it depends a lot on your skills and what agency you'll work for.
I'm from Sao Paulo till the end of this month, then I'm moving to London.
If you're a really good AD you'll earn enough to have a decent life here.

the gap between salaries there is pretty wide, you can be an entry level web guy for a small shop getting usd 700 / month or be a super star interactive or creative director on a top agency getting usd 12k plus a month.
