#2 all the way - It's great! The only real problem I see is the small bit of counter space created on the right side where the letterforms intersect. You may find that it closing up completely when printed or looking awkward the more you reduce it on screen. Other than that it's great!

I want to see a vertical terminal on the bottom of the S (maybe even in the middle of the A's legs?)...
