So I have a base of clients where I am, but Id like to expand, try out some new ones etc...
I have a usual couple of sites I check for job listings etc but just wondering if there are any out there you'd recommend?
I work in motion design though, but I have noticed an increase in motion guys on here in the past year or so...
cheers

for me, local connections, and word of mouth have always been best. Try your local chamber of commerce or other professional networking scenes.

I would recommend going to conferences, or any place that you can diversify your contacts. Last night I went to IgniteNYC and have a meeting with a potential client set up for Wednesday.

There's a billion ways you can get new clients and I would say that job boards don't feature high up the list (if you want to make decent money that is).
Here's some useful blogs on freelancing and getting better clients:

A good motion/3D guy is very valuable. I'd recommend getting in touch with local smaller design shops and agencies so they can start feeding you work that they can't produce in-house.
