There was one a while back that someone posted, called "A Million Little Pictures" or "A Million Little Videos" or something. I think that's what you're talking about. It was basically a 3d video wall, only cooler.

There used to be a 3d video wall kinda thing on the page, which was quite nice. Sorry, don't know why they got rid of that.

wouldn't video frames change, thus disrupting any photomosaic effect?
or are you just looking for a bunch of videos on a gird?
