Happy friday ya'll! I have a 50 page PDF but need to divide it into a few chapters. I have a table of contents page that includes all the sections. And what I need to do is, allow user to click on a title/link and the have it jump to that specific page/section. Can this be done in Acrobat? I think I've seen this done before so I am guessing it can be done. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

When you create the Link Box, before you click "Set Link" go to the page you want it to link to.

nice, mayo. :-)
- Thanks! :) I usually have to do "interactive pdfs" for a client after I do a catalog.mayo

IF you have the InDesign file (you didn't mention, so it's a big IF) you can easily create links to external websites or to other pages. When you export the PDF you just check to include interactive elements. Good luck.

Sweet! Thanks mayo and mono! Yes, I am working on the InDesign file and will be exporting it. How could I create such links?

Window > Interactive > Hyperlinks
Highlight the text you want to become a link, select New Hyperlink from the Interactive Palette, and then select Page from the Link to: dropdown.
You should be able to figure out the rest.

Is there an app for Mac that allows me to edit copy on a PDF? I've been playing with Adobe and nothing...

small corrections can be made in Acrobat Pro, but I've found that option a little buggy as it's line by line only, and can go all wonky on the fonts.

If it was save as a high-res pdf, you can usually make changes in Illustrator but the text lines will often be broken.
