hi guys.
I've had an unusual request to reproduce the business card design from the film 'American Psycho'.
I've got the layout, colour and original font spot on. The only problem is that my client has an email address that needs to be in lower case on the business card.... and the 'Copperplate' font only does UPPER CASE text.Sooooo, can anyone suggest a font that is similar to copperplate but allows you to use a lower case version too?
fingers crossed.
Thanks in advance.

Does your client look like Christian Bale? sweet

Two negative replies, yet you are female. This place never ceases to amaze me.
On a related note, I'm afraid I can't help with your problem. Good luck though.
- I do like your website though, if that helps?!Raniator

cheers me dears.
I know its an odd one to request.
and alas, no, unfortunately he doesn't look like Christian Bale - or have the psycho-ness of the film (i hope).

so I guess you really need a font to pair with Copperplate.... it would look strange to have all the contact details except the email address CAPS.
I'll try a few combos for you.

ah. you are a gem!

Copperplate-type fonts usually don't have lc... this one does, but I'm not sure if it's suitable.

perhaps something like Neutra Text or Futura?
or something a tad wider but still reasonably geometric?

i'll give it a go. Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it.

I'd just set it in caps. I think people would be able to figure it out.

Email addresses are case-insensitive.
- And most people are familiar enough with "the Internet" by now that it's not normally a problem.MrOneHundred

@taxiguerilla
"The local-part is case sensitive, so and may be delivered to different people. This practice is discouraged by RFC 5321. However, only the authoritative mail servers for a domain may make that decision. The only exception is for a local-part value of "postmaster" which is case insensitive, and should be forwarded to the server's administrator."
depends on the server.

You sure about that?

Hey Polly, You fancy showing us what it looks like at the moment?
Sounds like a cool project to be working on :)
