What are the best design/branding/advertising firms in TORONTO?
I only like Taxi. I think?

I like TAXI!!!

Ogilvy & Mather and Leo Burnett have offices here too!

Lately I've had to work with some files provided by Taxi, and I'm not impressed. They don't get the client, the demographic, and the files themselves are poorly constructed.
I had a friend at Taxi who left after 3 months because he couldn't take the sterile corporate structure; he went from a job with lots of input at all levels of production, to being pigeon holed into one role and spoon fed bits and pieces of projects.

- It just doesn't work. Outside the AGO they have a 3d rendering of it, but it's in a single type/colour.i_monk

I think the fact that you called them "FIRMS" right of the back shows how inflexible most of the big shot calling ad agencies locally (in Toronto) and globally are.
Their is a shift to small, flexible agenices winning big clients because they are able to change, adapt, grow and shrink faster and more efficiently with none (or less) of the politics of the big names.
I encourage this shift to continue so an ad agency of 100-500 today becomes a small, personal well oiled machine; not a bloated oversized cow.
- agenices = agencies... : )ideaist

Underline and Concrete would be my picks for the best, surely there must be some new studios popping up? Can't say I've ever really liked Amoebas work that much, just different sensibilities...

Underline looks pretty great too.
- it's just two people... but they may use freelancers from time to time..neue75_bold
