Hi Guys,
I am looking for a Chinese font similar to Gotham or Helvetica. Can anyone advise me on a very clean Simplified Chinese font...
Thanks a million

As a side note, does anyone know of a resource/article explaining kerning, leading and general Type rules for Chinese characters?

- I was just looking into this as I'm working on a project with Chinese. You can go to DynacomWare's website and buy these for $25 USD.

Real fonts actually. I can buy/torrent them I suppose.
Basically a very nice clean font that will work with Gotham or Helvetica or some other clean san serif Roman font.

Thanks a million, I am based in China but dont read Chinese so its a real pain in the arse. ( I dont have Chinese clients though so it doesnt usually effect me)
I dont want to be ungrateful here but if there is anyone out there that can reccomend one font that comes in a variety of strenghts that will go with gotham/helvetica. Its just that I cant really navigate my way around these sites...it id be a major help :)

i don't think you'll find anything better than typists first link. You could maybe find it for free though if you felt like breaking some copyright laws in China.
where are you anyways?

@mydo
you can look into monotype, they have the best text chinese typeface
- mydo0
nice. monotype seem oddly set up though. they tell you to buy their fonts from http://www.faces.co.uk, where none of their fonts are available.
right, off to noodle bull.
