not sure if i understand, but you do realize the difference between type and calligraphy, correct?

sorry. I think I understand you now.
if this is for a large amount of text that font would have been terrible anyway. The spacing is all over the place.
If you want a monospaced font you could try one of these:
Andale Mono
Monotype.com
TheSans Mono

Johndiggity: Yes. Kaiti can be used as a non-Asian font. It's "the one" for me, but I'm finding it annoying that Indesign will not italicise it while working on something with a lot of Danish in it. Therefore i want a typeface that looks the same but is formatted for use with the English alphabet.
