Looking to hire a company or individual to do some work for us on a big interactive flash site but don't know of any! Am open to someone locally in Australia or abroad..it's a big job and if it's an individual we'll fly them in to Brisbane if necessary. Most of the work would be upfront with some other things every month or two for the rest of the year.
Need to create a heap of photo realistic landscapes which vary quite a lot. They are all based in the realm of reality..no fantasy. Some animation would be required of these natural scenes as well as some custom modelling of several structures/objects to sit within the environments. Mostly the renders would be static with some elements separately rendered with animation etc. We also need a 3d model of an animal modelled and rigged in poser or max so we can generate dialogue when needed.
As far as budget goes, you'll need to discuss that more privately if you are interested :)
If anyone knows of a good place or person to get this kinda stuff done I'd be eternally grateful as I don't have any of these kind of contacts..

Just another thought. if all you're going for are photo realistic landscapes, consider searching for matte painters. check the examples at this site:

regarding the animation, what kind of movement do you need? with matte paintings you won't have 360 degrees of movement but using 3d camera mapping, you can do some digital slight of hand and perform simple push-ins and camera pans.
