This may be a dumb question but...
My work window always gets stuck under / behind the menus at the top of the screen; is there a way to keep that from happening eg can I make it so that my document window doesn't go under those top menus? Thanks for any help.

Oh man do I hate that! So annoying to get that sucker back from underneath there. Why that is there, I don't know. It could be a useful space saving feature. For those who can operate (apple+w), remember the document name, and can tab between documents...booya! You've saved about 20px of screen real estate.

Press Tab to remove all the tools, pull the window down, and press tab again. Maximize the window and it should simply fill the available space.

You need to check the option in Preferences > Interface > Enable Floating Document Window Docking.

You can go to window>arrange> cascade. when that happens. prolly can set up a shortcut. Also window>workspace> default to fix the panels.
We don't have that problem on the mac.
