Saw this just a second ago while watching the video... Noticed a woman who comes into frame on the steps, drops her nickers and takes a piss.

People everywhere are dying and you're shocked that some woman has to urinate?
- !!elektro
- This wasn't meant to be personal, I was just having a laugh. So please don't take offense. :)ismith
- But I do stand by it, I mean the situation is pretty serious.ismith
- Shocked CNN doesn't have their shit together.UKV

"make them look like they're animals"
we are animals, walking on our hind legs.

Fucking CNN, clearly this was the plan all along, to show this woman shitting.
- version30
i read cnn planned the earthquake with the illuminati to capture this footage

waiting for the "thats racist!" gif...

Its messed up when people can't understand the simple concept of taking more than one shot,
i think its distasteful that they pick this shot when they probably shot a dozen.

As far as I'm concerned, it's CNN's job to document everything. People have their own filter, and for those who believe it makes them seem as lesser humans I feel only pity (again, not a personal attack at Georges or anyone– I'm really talking about those who will see it and then choose not to offer aid because of it).
All the stations are doing their fair share of media-whoring, from their celebrity call centers to random excuses to get shots of Anderson Cooper essentially modeling in a tshirt. The more real shots of the situation there are, the more people who are willing to make a difference will step up. That's why I see nothing disrespectful in the image above.
- UKV0
At any point you put the desire for response from the global community above the dignity of the people actually suffering, anything is possible.
- ukit0
Cmon man Anderson Cooper saved a kid FFS

What do you do when faced with a desperate situation? Poor people...
I was far more shocked to see how the dead bodies were being treated...thrown from the backs of trucks into pits. Horrifying stuff but just illustrates the depths of despair they must be feeling.
- xcarlx0
technology wise though, that is kinda crazy, it is a qvtr video.
- eieio0
its a disaster area those people have lost everything who the fuck cares if one of them takes a piss on camera. whats it doing there anyway? leave it to cnn to turn this terrible situation into interactive webotainment. How does anyone besides cnn benefit from having a 3d cam walking around there?
- crying because the reporting is too real?version3
- its not reporting its exploitive, you put an interactive 3d cam at a sporting event not a disaster area. why not put one in a ghetto? hospital,...you know fun placeseieio
- ...in a ghetto, a hospital, perhaps the middle of a war zone? you know fun places.eieio
- it may be entertainment to some, but it serves a purpose and that to me makes it worthwhile.ismith

Living, working in South Korea - have seen male, female, young, old taking a piss "in public" - welcome to the real (fucking) world - it happens - in Haiti's case I don't begrudge her the moment to resolve the need.
