I'm working (with a developer) on a website right now that has an HTML structure, with Flash videos and Flash replacement text for headlines. I know the web-safe font limitations are headed the way of the dodo, but for now Flash replacement headers is a great stand-in solution. And as others have noted, it might be used in different ways over time, but I doubt it's going away. Kinda like print.

The Vimeo one is much nicer, also theYouTube one reverts to Flash on videos that bombard you with banners which is extra fucking annoying
