Been running CS2 on a white intel C2D iMac for the past few years but I now need a laptop.
Going to get the standard macbook and was wondering how it runs CS?
I heard snow leopard won't run CS2?
How is it running CS3/4?
Any general input on the new macbook and photoshop CS would be mucho appreciado!

if you want to go that way. upgrade to 4gb ram. i have 2 on my older pro. (which was max then)
- i run the one before snow leopard.akrokdesign
- and cs3. works fine.akrokdesign

Is it really worth it though? PS only uses 3gb max doesn't it?
I used to work on a 1.33ghz ibook with 1.5gb ram and it coped perfectly for all my photoshop needs.
Was planning on just the 2gb ram, if I find I need more then I will just get some cheaper 3rd party ram.
I'd get the pro but as I want a small 13", the only difference between them is the graphics card shares the ram on the macbook which is fine by me. I'll only use it for photoshop, interwebz etc

I am more than happy running leopard and cs2 at the moment so I think more than likely I will use that on the macbook too.
I remember hearing snow leopard wasn't running older versions of CS, just cs4?
- sounds like it would work for you. it's a GO! :-)akrokdesign
- not sure if you can downgrade osx.akrokdesign

if you like the speed and stability of cs2 dont try cs4. its the exact opposite.
