RUIN: Chapter 0. The whole execution of this thing is beyond tight. Made by two brothers from what I can tell. It’s more of an interactive demo than it is a proper game, but it expects some game fluency to navigate. Shit like this is why I fell in love with the internet and it’s so nice to see people still doing it right.

Capcom has released another banger, meanwhile the Right vs Left in the west are fighting over the game's meaning without being able to just enjoy a game.

The Pedo Simulator chat below is reminding me about a truly terrible game I was commissioned to build in 2006.
The project was a CD-ROM about online safety. Huge project by an agency which spanned everything computer, Viruses, Firewalls, Phishing... They commission one game for the whole thing and chose "Protecting Your Children Against Online Predators".
So I pitched this game "Predator Hunt" and knew it was going to be shite, however it was so daft and really enjoyed building it.
There were three pedo characters (i can only find 'old man jenkins' and 'super dan' lol), Several vaguely Mac themed levels where you would arrange to meet friends online and form a band.

whoop whoop our game just launched after 7 years of development. Been quite the journey to finally see players get their hand on it.
We got the reviews yesterday and its laying at an average of 89/100 which was above what we expected.
