6yo son came up with a concept for a simple platform game at the weekend and had drawn it out. Yesterday I helped him craft the brief into a prompt for Lovable.dev
Ended up with a fun little 5 level platform game.- lol.. just went to loveable.ai .. definitely not the same thingautoflavour

Not sure if this was posted already/elsewhere, but here is teh cinematic short for Marathon. Directed/written by Alberto Mielgo, know for The Witness and Jibaro in Love, Death, and Robots.

Its a pretty insane time for high quality indie games, so here are four different ones you may or may not have heard off.
Blue Prince - A Myst rogue-lite puzzle game.
Each time you open a door you get three room options to put down. Your immediate aim is to get to the 46 room of the 45 room mansion... prepare for many other things to spiral out before you get there.Obscenely clever game, though you may not see it for the first 4-5 hours.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 - Turn based RPG.
First released game from French developer Sandfall. Each year everyone above a certain age are instantly wiped off the face of the earth, this year its anyone age 33. So you set off on a expidition, like many before you, to try and stop this from happening.Is currently the videogame that have gotten the highest review score this whole year.
Bionic Bay - 2d platformer
A pixel 2d platformer where you can manipulate time, gravity, and switch place with objects. Think the trailer does a better job at explaining it than I can.
Skin Deep - Immersive sim where you rescue cats on spaceships
Its a weird premise, but seems to have a lot of humor in it and some cool gameplay. Blast out windows to send enemies tumbling into outer space, crawl though air ducts and come up with inventive solutions.Out next week.

I've been playing with my 6 year old AND:
I. Holy s**t this is a fun, arcade-based racer; fast, engaging, LOUD and i'm smiling the whole time.
II. I got the offroad / trail addon AND the hot wheels addon AND this game is insanely large.
III. I LOVE the idea of XBOX and PS5 (and Switch I guess?!) opening up to having cross platform games; it feels like the hay day of gaming (once again!!!)Game on brother(s) (AND @shellie).
