designers are too busy working 12-16 hours a day to make up for the shitty wage earned. it's hard to fit reading in with the all drinking and fixy riding that also has to be done.

I've never been a reader.
Actually reading words on a page bores me and doesnt inspire my imagination much. I see the page more as a layout of words and paragraphs.
Its audio and visuals that stimulate me.- I get bored if I have listen to someone reading though. I can't stand audio books.lukus_W

It's not that I don't read—I just prefer the escapist route. Give me some good ol' fiction over the pretentious rantings of some fuckwit art/creative director any day of the week. At least i'm doing something useful when I read fiction; using my imagination.
