I am preparing an XML document to use for our RSS feed. However, I can't seem to get the text to format with paragraphs, links, and sub-headings. (And maybe pictures too)
The best example I can come up with is Wired's blogs, and example is here:

Is there some way to force HTML formatting into an XML document? Or can I do something in XML to format it?
I am a total newbie at XML and just understand the basic basic basics of it.

XSLT can be a mindbender for some....
CDATA can allow you to insert plain old HTML, but depends on how you're using it all....

like vaxorcist said.. CDATA is what you're looking for, at least when reading the xml w/ Flash. I believe its just the same for an RSS feed. just adds one more node for you to drill into.
I'd download some feeds that have HTML formatting and see how they structure their xml just for safety sake.
