melting effect in flash?

hey guys,
does anyone know how to make a melting effect in flash...
either tet that looks like it is melting and blobs are dripping down and onto the ground or a general melting effect... like wax melting?
any ideas? or know of tutorials?

do you want the melting effect to be interactive? (user-generated based on mouse movement etc...)... or just trying to create something for a static intro or animation?
If it's the latter... maybe look up After Effects tutorials and load it as video?

ideally i want it in flash
its a word. and i want it too look like the bottom of different letters is melting, and see droop down effects dripping down from it... wondered if it could be done with a script?? or even an animatin tutorial wouldbe good!

I think PonyBoy was asking if it will be static or dynamic.
If it's static (meaning no user interaction will modify/change the animation) AfterEffects would be the way to go, just export it as an FLV and load it into Flash.
If it's dynamic, you have a lot of physics to learn... :p

i guess for something like this I'd start searching for dynamic animation using the bitmap class in flash... basically you'd be using script to manipulate the pixels of a bitmap capture of whatever it is you wish to melt... using said 'physics' as rosem pointed out... :)
