Hey all.. I've been scouring the internet for a while. Looking for a satellite photo of a city at night. Something about this distance from the earth.. but at night:
Needs to be relatively large (at least 1600x1200 72dpi).
Believe me I've been searching for hours now and am having a real hard time finding something. I figured one of you perverts might have a secret stash of satellite photography hidden somewhere.

I imagine you'd be better off looking for 'high altitude' photography, rather than 'satellite' in your search terms. Also, given the nature of the beast, perhaps try targetting touristy marketing terms like 'London at night' or whatever.

Thanks folks! I've been to most of the sites mentioned above. I think i'm starting to realize that there are probably only 30 or 40 satellite photos of cities at night ever taken. I'll have to see if the budget for this project will allow for a little space travel

you might be able to get your shot with a balloon. it'll go higher than a helicopter and cheaper than a satellite photo i'd think

http://www.universetoday.com/200…- even a manned balloon could to this most likely... if they fly at night though? scaryversion3
