Not sure what it is, maybe PS thinks its the weekend already, but its doing something weird. When I hit CTR+ or CTR- to zoom in or out, PS opens my browser to adobe's local help page. Also clicking on the zoom percentage in the bottom left corner to manually put in the percentage, it also opens up a page in my browser....
Anyone ever encounter this?

Actually anything to do with zoom opens the browser.

Have you inadvertently set up some Mac key command that trumps the application?
Otherwise, never heard of that one. I recommend shutting down, shaking a gourd at the machine, and saying 'ooga booga' a few times. Come back in a few, and try gain.

Well, I just restarted PS and everything is back to normal... for now.
I would love to know why that happened though.

maybe photoshop was sending you a message that you should not take it for granted.
benfal took his girlfriend for granted and look what happened there...

if it happens again you can always try trashing your prefs and restarting.

sometimes that happens to me when opening up the blending options and when blending options is open it will continuously pop up the local help page no matter what i touch... really annoying. (on a PC)

EXACT same thing happens to me chrisone. I'll be editing a gradient map in my layers and clicking into the color palette will cause like fifteen Adobe Help windows to spawn for no reason. Happens about once a day.
