anyone used this Shopp plugin for Wordpress? wondering if I should give it a go.

from what I'm reading i'm still not sure if the transaction all takes place at my site or if it is leaving....
i like this...
Over 200 comprehensive template tags for unparalleled custom template development (no hacking necessary)may be overkill but either way and at 300 it'd be worth every cent if it it processed on site....
let it be noted, i hate wordpress. fucking hate it.

wordpress is too many pieces, so long to compile the site on the server, for each page load... header, content, sidebars, add-ons some other shit, footer... every fucking time! obviously noticeable server lag against anything custom built to need, not the overgrown giant that WP has become.

Also, due to its popularity it's very easy for ppl to hack and exploit holes in.pylon

there are a few reasons you see sites that crawl with wp. ask your friends at mediatemple why their mysql setup breaks cache plugins and makes your site slow to a crawl. mostly the issue is not using proper file caching, not using a php opcode cache, not using expires headers properly, and using poorly coded plugins that eat tons of RAM. it's not unusual to encounter a sloppy plugin that uses more RAM than the entire WP core.
anyway, i was attracted to the nice documentation and solid API, but now that you mention the checkout thing, i don't see any info on that, hmm...

ok, it does appear that if you have an SSL cert and payment gateway it will all happen on your site.
